For patients

Who we are, and why we have your details

gBell is the software your clinic uses to answer its phone, book visits, and collect the forms you'd otherwise fill in at the front desk. We're not a clinic and we don't provide care. You're here because your clinic sent you a link.

Where your information goes

To your clinic. We hold it on their behalf, under a written agreement that limits us to running the service for them. We don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI models.

Calls are recorded

When you call your clinic and the assistant answers, that call is recorded and written down so your clinic has an accurate record. The assistant tells you this at the start of every call. If you'd rather not be recorded, say so and it will take a message or pass you to a person.

Why we ask for a code

Before showing appointment details we text or email you a one-time code. It means a forwarded message or a phone left on a kitchen counter doesn't expose your visit to someone else.

To see, correct, or delete your record

Contact your clinic, not us. They hold your medical record and the legal responsibility for it, and we act on their instructions. If you write to us directly about your health information we'll point you back to them rather than act on our own.

In an emergency

Hang up and call 911. The assistant can't send help and isn't a substitute for emergency care.

Questions about the software itself, rather than your care or your record, go to info.y@gbellai.com. Our full privacy policy covers how we work with clinics.
